I did however pick up a couple of internet bargains yesterday. Got a 5/600 mile round trip tomorrow, but it will earn me two months wages! ;)

I guess by the time you've factored in all your costs etc it erodes into the profit, I guess its probably worth £3.5k, not worth it unless he will take £3k for it.
Ebay?

I am trying to get rid of mine, but I don't want to give it away. And seeing this gem at that price does not bode well for me!

Ebay?

I spend 2-3 hours every night trawling ebay/PH/Forums/AutoTrader etc looking for cars. Some nights It works, some it doesn't.

And £500 profit??

Take out the rent, the Electric, the Insurance, the VAT, the NI, the Valeting, the MOT, any other prep, My wages, fuel..... That will add up to more than £500 dude. :dapprove:

Fair enough, I do the same although not every night, I will PM you any I spot that are out of my price range.
£500 isn't bad when you have very little overheads and its a local car, just the cost of the autotrader ad and an afternoon spent with a washmitt and a microfibre ;)
Im not a business though.
