Where in my post do i mention Sanspeed? I don't. I'm talking about Superchips, who categorically overquote all their performance gains.

This might be true but that would mean I`m very lucky...I got a new engine 10k miles ago and it is pretty much just as fast as the old one. I agree with Lager that it is a fantasic mod but I do have quite afew flat spots that I reckon a remap would sort. Not bothereing getting cams as it is /will be quick enough without spending a fortune on it...

Your not the only one with a quick Cup either to be fair - Neil82Cup, Tim-O... both around the 14 second/100mph mark - To much of a coincidence imho. The Rsport/GrpN works, no doubt.

Yeah i know i bought it off him just wondering if anything (power increase wise) was done to it?? it seems really quick for a 172 cup??

I have had a grp n ecu in my car for almost 6 months. I THOUGHT it did give me an increase, not in power, but in midrange torque. Well..... after todays group dyno, I discovered only 94.2Kw at the wheels with this ecu. After seeing another stock 172 pull 96.?Kw i was a little dissappointed.

I went home and changed back to the original and got a max figure of 96.8Kw. Interestingly, with the grp n, the AFR was not ideal. With the standard it was apparently spot on. The two graphs shown on top of each other show the grp n with a little increase through the midrange but lose power top end. I have a 2.25" cat back exhaust, panel filter.

I had this ecu sent to fastchip in the netherlands to be done.

I care not for rolling roads. My car was definitely quicker midrange with the GrpN.
