I like loads of others went to the FCS. I was unfortunately not there at the start (couldnt get there until 3pm) so obviously missed quite abit. I feel I really need to have a moan though (hang fire, it isnt about ClioSport). My Husband owns a Megane Coupe and understandably wanted to see the other Coupes, but it appears all the Megane Coupe owners had all buggerd off . I of course was in my element as there were LOADS of Clios left to see (thanks for staying guys) . I noticed too that there were some nice 'comercial stalls' that I wanted to visit after I had had a look around the beloved Clios, but after it was announced that 'ClioSport' had won the 'Best Stand' (well done guys!) the darn stalls packed up and also buggered off, which was a little disapointing. My poor Husband was absolutely gutted! We had driven for over 2 hours so he could see all the Megane Coupes, and so he could finally meet up with the other members of his Coupe club, but apart from one nice blue Coupe which was driving from one end to the other(which wasnt a Coupe Club Member) they had all vanished. It appears (after having a look around their site) that they had all driven up the night before (like I gather most of the ClioSport owners did) and had spent lots of time boozing and lining their cars up for picture taking sessions in the car park where they stayed, but when it came to the show most of them were moaning that they were 'tired' from the night before and basically although they had had a good time whilst they were there, most of them really couldnt wait to get home. I also noticed that although they all apeared to be able to park their cars in a straight line at the Hotel car park, when it came to the show all organisation had gone out of the window as they were parked in 2 rows (one behind the other) but apparently had forgotten what a straight line looked like.

To sum up. I enjoyed viewing all the lovely cars that 'bothered' to stay until the 'end' of the show (Clios being the best of the bunch of course) and from my point of view it was well worth the 2 hour drive, but I am left a little deflated and feel rather cheated on my Husbands behalf.:dapprove:

Ok, moan over, you can all whip me with a wet lettuce leaf later if you really think I deserve it ;)

Thanks again Guys and Gals for making MY day! :hail:  :D

See another reason to use the blue scheme. (Highlight it Fletch)

Our convoy of five left for the 200 mile journey at 5pm was that too early?

I think we left at about 3:45.

after being there a 7am it was a bloody long day, no lie but at 11am everyone was saying it felt like 4, plus a lot of us were knackered from the night before and I didnt feel great driving home probably cos I didnt eat cos of the dissapointment from FCS's VUIP. (Very Un-Inportant Persons)

I totally understand why 'some' people left before the end, it must have been extremely tiring, not to mention alot of hard work. I don't think 'anyone' from 'ClioSport' has any need to explain why they left when they did. The club was well and truely represented by each and every one of you.

The Megane Coupe club however, I feel well and truely let their club down, as not only did they not make an effort of their stand, but also disapointed many other club members who were not on the stand, by not remaining there to be seen by later arrivals.
