GIMPO has officially gone as some of you may know.
103,300 miles.
france, belguim, holland, germany, luxembourg, wales.
its been round the ring twice.
had a million problems, including taking the sump off, finding the wires were shorting out causing limp mode, O2 problems.

payed £7k for it 3 years ago. was chopped for £1600.

ladies and gentlemen i give you GIMPO, the fastest 1.4 16v in the west.
im sure if you have ever been on a meet where its there you'd remember it. i know leeds_182, al, andre,josh, gaz, adele & sarah will. ha ha ha.
it also brought me here. which on the whole has been a good thing.

mods.
it stayed standard for 2 years.
then 172 alloys. -60mm on springs
simota IK, sold to BMH.01
3.5" twin rolled. exhaust, i always forget what make it was. magnex?

thats about it, kept it subtle. a bit of tyre paint here and there.

the truth is that its faster than most RS models. so renault contacted me and asked me to keep it quiet, they even gave me one of thier 172 models to replace it.
i think gimpo is being disassembled in dieppe, much like the short circuit story. everyone know jonny 5 was alive. i just hope itll run free before they can find the secret to its power.

i know why it was fast, because it was loose.
because it went everywhere at 100% throttle.
it went very close to 140mph on the clocks.
the price was payed in petrol though!
