TINTED WINDOWS!!!

Removed my tints today and now have very stickey digusting looking windows tryed to get it off and iam really struggling have ideas or has anyone done it before?

White spirit might work, I know it's used for external badges.

i tryed intensive tar remover it worked abit but i still reackon with that iam looking at 3 hours per window ill try sprit though thanks man

Autoglym (or equivelant) Tar and glue remover. You can buy it in Halfords.

Its a s**t of a job to do mind you. Takes ages to get it off, but it will eventually.

use solvent cleaner, this can be found in most diy shops orupvc window stores.
i had the same problem its horrible stuff. solvent cleaner gets it straight off

soften with intensive tar remover or a spirit then scrape off with a blade. took me about 20mins to do the front windows of a transit.

White spirit is like a pound a litre so it's worth a go if you can't get your hands on solvent cleaner straight away!
