Tinting front headlights

I've seen this done before where you can spray the inside of the headlight black which I want to do to my Ph1 172.

Has anyone done this and if so is there a guide?

It's probably better to use Lamin-x film mate. The light will shine through 100% and the right colour then too.

I think you have to put them in the oven to get the casing off, then mask everything off and spray the non reflective bits black
