Tints!

just sold me old car so ive got a few £££ to get me windows dun on me clio

i want to get all of them done as i think it wil look gud cos the car is black

has any1 got any pics of new black clios with tints?

also does any1 know anything about the legal limit on the front 2?

front 2 is somet like 22.5% i think

but remember the normal windows have slight tints in allready

i dont think you are actually allowed any tint on the front windows any more.
back windows and rear can be as dark as you want, if your looking to get your tints done make sure you get titanium based tint film tho, it is much better and it is more reflective than the normal black tint.

thats my old clio, i had medium tint at the front and dark tint at the back,
had it one for abit a year never got pulled.
the tint at the front is abit darker than medium level tint, as the standard glass in a dynamique is already slightly tinted

I've got a black Mk 2 Clio & I did medium rear sides & midnight back screen. Looks ice cool & v.classy indeed! Remember winter is on the way & you don't wanna sacrifice front side vision too much as the tints will reduce this more than you think - it is fine during the day but after dusk & at night visibility is reduced. As for the legalities check www.sctints.com for the new regulations from Jan 04 onwards. Haven't got pics of my car but is def worth doing, esp on a black car!

I had dark rear and med front and looks Wickid..... Theres 2 guys from Leicster that does em at a real reasonable price and does the back window in one piece! Price was £150 when i had it done and took 3 hours ish. Name is liam but i can remember the phone number of the website address but im sure if you live near that way the its worth checking it out

Anything in front of the B pillar must be 75% translusive i think and on the front screen no lower than the two identifying arrows in the glass approx 4 inches down from the roof line but CHECK

Its just tinting film cut to fit.
