Tips for cleaning silver seat belts

Hi,

My seat belts are looking pretty grim, and being silver they are a pain to clean. I've tried using loads of Autogym interior shampoo, but no luck. Any tips for cleaning these?

Try some Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner, you can mix it up a touch stronger to allow it to do a better job than the Autoglym.

I used Autoglym fine on mine. I did the following. Pulled out all the slack and submersed (sp) the belt into a bowl of warm water. Then i sprayed on the Autoglym. Then basically wroked in the shampoo, by squeezing the belt in your hand, and running your hand down the belt still sqeezing, (your GF might be good at this??!) Then i got an old drying towel and dried best i could. Left them plugged in over night and during the day, and they dried perfect in the summer. Came up as new, i was well chuffed as they were proper grubby

superb i'll give that a shot - was that autoglym interior shampoo, the normal stuff?
As for the the GF do this for me - well, i'm sure if i ask her nicely to do it she will be flattered
