To be 200bhp

Hello all,

What do I need to do to get my clio 172 to be 200bhp??

I am putting a full exhaust system on it with a ktec manifold and sports cat, induction kit with cold air feed and remap.

Will this take me to near that figure?:)

a good engine, ITG maxogen, 182 manifold (it's not a Ktec manifold), Decat, Matched inlets, cams and a custom remap. You'll be near as damn it there.

as said above you really need a different set of cams to get near the magical 200 mark..

with basic breathing mods and a remap you could reach anything between 170 - 180 bhp

no. Ur car will be lucky to be producing 160-165 max standard. probably 180 ish on a good day.

I am wanting a bit more power.. my current set up (inlet/plenum matched, itg filter, de-cat, s/s exhaust, remap) produces 181 bhp

But anything else will realistically cost over £1000 :dapprove: apart from the 182 manifold?

TBH you find me a car that can keep up with a cup running a decat (172 mani) filter, full exhuast R-sport ecu and stripped out (with decent suspension/tyres)

thats's about all you need to do, anymore and you're talking BIG money

if any of the 172/182 non cup boys don't beliebe me, go drive a 172 cup/try and keep up with one round track (with the above similar mods) and you'll see what i mean!
