Today I looked at this mk2 (no 56k)

Alrite- today I looked at this with my dad- a 1.6v 3dr Si up for 3800

its in pretty good nick- the odd stone chip DIDNT realise that it DIDNT have electric mirrors but electric everything else which i thought was odd.

QUICK QUESTIONS

the electric sunroof rattles a bit- well theres an odd noise when it isnt being used i.e is closed- the noise isnt there when it is opened slightly.

is this a difficult problem to sort?

nah, not suspicious... exhaust is a consumable, and it was probably to get rid of the 4k rattle....

If the book says £3200 then offer him that.

Have a check on autotrader though for simialr spec/ ages milage cars and check though.

Its amazing how cheap older Clios are sort of made me wish Id bought one and not got a loan.

Sunroof rattle can be fixed with a little silicone i think.

Offen see mk1 172 bumpers of ebay mate. There were also some wheels on here the other day cheap.

that car should have colour coded mirrors... im sure of it.

i think they are only 1.6 8v, in which case i would definately get a 1.4 16v instead, like me

more power and cheaper insurance for the 1.4 16v too.

The more I think about the car the more im goin off it.

I really like the look of it; the headlights/colour/tints e.tc.

BUT the price seems too high even tho it has an avg kenwood tape/cd changer and avg. 6x9s and tints fitted.

Really would prefer one with full elecs. and possibly air conditioning but with the extra sporty bits that this model offers.

I may go look at some 206s or new corsas unless i cant find one ! lol

^^ yep drive by that place on a daily basis, that cars only been in there for about a week.
