Just got myself one of these the other day.....ive used a Navman before for going though to gigs etc and it was great right to the door etc but if i stick in the street name and number in my TomTom it say it dosnt exist or asks for a raod crossin.....anyone know what im doing wrong or is it not that great a Satnav ???

Tried entering Postcode first, then it will ask you the number?

Nope ive tryed that too mate and it will only give me up to number 468 on Sauchiehall Street and im looking to get 490 (The Garage) :/

Maybe its not a street you can actually drive down? Pedestrianised maybe.

Surely if you're within that close to it, you'll be able to find it anyways

yer mine does this sometimes i just program it to the nearest number then you can just look for it, i dont think it always recognises all the house numbers on a road

Yeah my TT mobile version is the same. You cannot miss the Garage, it has a huge truck sticking out of it

poor reception in my experience

personally, id always choose a Garmin unit over anything

Yeah i know you cant miss it lol to be honest its hard to miss.....I went with a tom tom just because they seem to be name when it comes to Satnav although ive already found problem with it in Dundee giving me the wrong speed limits on roads and asking me to turn up streets i cant turn up into :/
