TomTom Charger

Does anyone know if you can get a charger for TomTom Sat Nav thats longer than the standard issue one as its to short for where i want to have mine sitting in my Mk3.....

had a look and there all the standard ones, will have to see if i can make do with it for now

Or a 12V extension lead?

rather it was the charger as choppin end off and hard wiring it into the 12v port at the handbreak, Might be able to wire it in at the Fuse box under a spare way if theres any :/ but thats gonna be what ever voltage comes out the battery so will no doubt be no good.

well mines is just over the meter long mark and unlike the Mk2s the 12v port is at your arse and the dash is longer too so bit more of a stretch to get the the window...I like to have the cable hidden away

i'd say mine is 2 metres, maybe even 3! Maybe they come in different lengths?

Just measured, it's 2 mtr's long. Would swap but it not my TomTom

It's a v2 Europe, bought in june last year.

Just roughly did mine it just under say 1 1/4 meters :/

Buy a cheap noname spare one of of ebay, and then you can do like I did.

Hardwire it using a jack plug, you can buy those dirtcheap at any electronics store. And then you can place it where ever you want, and make your other cable as long as you want...
