Has anyone got this yet and used it in a car with a heat reflective windscreen, does it work or will it need a re-radiating aerial, and if so is there one available?

I have actually answered my own question now though and it does need an external aerial and one is available for around £50.

Thanks CupCake, I read that aswell, but then in the link I posted above it has a screenshot of a route through Europe and the title of the screenshot is major roads of europe so I think you could navigate through to major cities, it maybe just doesnt have as much detail as the UK map?

Anyone know the answer who has one please?

yea ive got the tomtom and i had to move my gps reciever to the side window because of the windscreen, id been driving round for ages wondering why it wasnt workin..lol

sorry mate, i have a pda so i have a seperate gps receiver, didnt relise it was that 1 u where on about...sorry
