Tomtom placement

Hi all,

this is my second new thread (apologies!), but its a different subject to my other one and Ive already looked for the answer!

I've got a 197 and I need to fit my tomtom 510, however the front of the car seems to be very tightly sealed so its looking like its going to be a job to squeeze the power lead through it so I can have the tomtom mounted in the drivers side corner of the windscreen.

Has anyone hidden their cable in this way, and if so are there any things to watch out for, and is it actually possible?

I just have mine plugged in to the lighter when I use it..and that way its easy to remove from the car..so peeps dont tax it. they could see the wire and break in cos they think
the sat nav is in the glovebox or something.
also should keep a cloth to wipe the sucker mark from the window as that is a telltale sign too.
