I think you are wrong.
They have a customer service number, you call them up, tell them the problem, they pick it up the next day for repair.
Any company will only repair after 28 days or replace if it cannot be fixed.
Their service is pretty good to be fair.
I got a 910 and its excellent. My buddy has another 910, poor battery life, phoned, complained, collected next morning, new unit delivered 3 days after.
I know, I've spoken to them...
My point is I don't feel repairs are acceptable within such a short period and they informed me it would take 5-10 days to return it.
Most companies will sadly try and get away with the minimum possible to meet legal requirements when it comes to faulty goods even if it's within a fairly short space of time. Obviously it will vary some are very good and offer replacements a long time after they have to. I think you should give up and not buy anything electrical in future you seem to be doomed with electronic goods, lol.

thats your rights unfortunately.
tomtom are very good with their customer service, i have to deal with them on a daily basis.
whats actually wrong with your device karen? i have seen just about every fault going...
TomTom DONT repair you product normally.
They replace it with a refurbished unit. IIRC there will be an "R" on the bottom info area.
Unless they have changed there policy...
(My new unit has not been for repair, but i wud argue if they sent me a damn refurbished unit)
