Tools for lowering my 182??

  R35 GTR
Trolley jack, locking wheel nut thingies. crowbar, various sockets, think it was 21mm and others.

And a fat bloke to compress spring.

Spring clamps most importantly. Jack and axle stands or a ramp if you have access to one. Ratchet set. Hammer maybe if the shock wont come out or go back in easily. That's if you're replacing the shocks!

Wheel brace/locking nuts :) obviously to get the wheels off.

You don't need spring compressors for the 172 / 182 - everyone who's done it will back me up on this. You might think you do - you don't.

An impact driver is a must for getting the top mounts off. All the other bits are found in the average tool kit.

Nope you 110% don't need compressors, but as a rule of thumb we always use them at the garage for HSE reasons.
