top mount...how do i check???

Hi all,

Im getting a sort of low noise thump/knock when going over holes/stuff whilst driving.... the bearings are sound and i carn see any leaks on the shock and bounce test is ok. So i was thinking it might be the top mount....but how do i check to see if it is?????

blimey, seems i have started a revolution of top mount problems!!

there is a thread lower down in this section mate that will tell you all, inc solutions, links to group buys on solid top mounts etc

for solid top mounts yeah, but not for standard (well, renault wanted 300 labour + 60 quid parts ahahahahahaha)

mate search in this section, i just did and there are too many threads to link to, like 10!!
