Top Mount Question..

The bearings in both of my 172's top mounts have sh*t themselves.

I got a price off gsf today of €84 euro incl. vat for two whole top mounts incl. bearings.

When I asked what the are listed to fit, he just said "clio up to '06".

Would they all be the same? As in, the top mounts in a 1.2 Clio the same as the ones for the 172?

Yep, all the same, the price is about what I paid iirc.

You have to re-use your compression nut and metal spacer though.

Bought and fit these today. No more knocking . One of the mounts literally had none of the bearing left!! Coilovers seem to take their toll on the bearings I think.

I would've waited a bit and gone for some solid mounts. miles better than std ones. 84 euro's is a good price though

There's nothing wrong with the standard items at all, some solid ones aren't worth the metal they're formed from.

metal work+ spherical ball bearing and no play in the joint= worth the money for me
