top mounts squeeking

they are both squeeking when driving along bumpy roads.

now i cant not drive on bumpy roads so no smart comments.

but is there any way to stop them squeeking or is it just go and buy some solid fixed ones???

who and where are the best places to get some????

They tend to 'clunk' IME - Only one at a time too!

the rubber seems very loose on the metal part. you can almost turn the rubber bit around.

im only guessing but i cant see what else would give the squeek.

it seems to be the drivers side thats the main problem

I get the odd creak from mine and one time they were both doing it. Reading previous threads it's a common thing. Don't think there's much you can do it about it apart from what you've mentioned and replacing them with solid mounts.
