Top speed in 4th gear in a 197

Hi all

Does anyone have the highest speed you can drive in each gear in a 197? I would like the Renault official info if possible.

No bullsh1t answers please.

Just found that too. Taking 21.99kmh and dividing by 1.6 = 13.74mph. Take the answer and times by 7.5 (7500 redline) = 103mph.

The reason I was asking was when looking at the 0-100 time for the 197 it is 18.7 secs. I wonder whether they managed to do that in 4th or had to change to 5th which would add to the time.

Just thinking out loud really.

rs tuner data list clocked my 172 at 124mph in 4th at 7800rpm

That must of been like 130-135 on the clocks then in 4th?

My 182 does 118mph on the limiter in 4th, but then 172/182 only has a 5 speed box.

why lol? no wasnt actually unless rs tuner is not accurate

Clocks always over read, so they must of been reading more than 124mph on the clocks?

tell you the truth i dnt think it was but saying that, the rs tuner doesnt calculate speed by gps so im guessing it shows what the speedo shows. so it probably is innacurate thinking about it
