....... settings for the top of the rear shocks on a MK2 172 .... does anyone know? Reckon it will be about 30lbs/ft but not sure? Im fitting a rear OMP strut brace so need to slacken the top mounts.

Hi 172loony, no I havent approached Reno but may have to give them a bell on Monday if I cant find the answer. I reckon the likes of BenR or BobRTE will probably kow the answer though! Cheers, Neil

Rear shock top mounts - 2 daN.m

bottom shock bolts - 10.5 daN.m

Hi Ben, top man ....knew you would have the answer! My torque wrench is calibrated in ft-lb. Am I right assuming that 1 daN.M = 7.4 ft-lb? Threfore we are talking about 15 ft-lb for the top mounts?
