torrentspy users

I wonder if a few of the regular torrent spy users can answer this for me.

Last time i went on the site (2months ago) there was notice on there site regarding the goverment demanding users info so that they can prosecute users.

does anyone know the outcome of the case?

Is it safe to download?

Same here. They don't hold personal details or illicit files, the only thing they hold is an index of the torrents.

i only use it to download freeware programs which incur no copyright

too many people use torrents these days to be prosecuted, the only people they will go after will be the uploaders, but like going after drug dealers rather than the users, take a drug dealer off the street and you stop more than jsut taking a user off!
