torsion bar help

hi guys, you prob heard this time a million times before but could someone give me a idea of how to lower the rear of my clio mk1, maybe a diagram would be better if possible? also how low coud i go on 16s? cheers

torsion bar is pretty easy, im sure someone will post the guide with pictures but i aint got the link.

basically pop the caps off that are by the wheels and itll reveal a hole with a thread.

you need a socket that fits over that thread thing, a bolt that screws into the thread and a couple of washers.

basically you put the socket over it, put the washers on the bolt and put the bolt through the socket and tighten it into the thread, as you tighten up against the socket it pulls the torsion bar out. jack the hub up and hammer the bar back in gently, same for the other side.
