Touching in stonechips? Talk to me!!!

Anyone got any tips or tricks of the trade ?
How do you all do yours?
Was going to just use small art brush and build it up in layers?
What do you wipe with to prep it ?
Mix lacquer and paint some say is this best?
Any advice appreciated dont want it to look shite when done ??

Chipex. Someone on here has used it, I can't remember who but the results were decent enough.
