The cars are diigned to break like that though crash a land rover at 20 and you'll have a right bad injoury most likly roll the car then gain you've got to get a land rover sideways at 20mph first.tidyclio said:Wouldn't personally agree their tough at all, I crashed mine at about 20mph(fair enough i was going sideways) but it caused £4000 of damage. The plastic wings and crumples zone might make it more user and pedestrian but the will also make your car looks much bigger mess from a more minor accident compared to some of the bigger cars.
Your tyre looks ok and the wheel looks pretty straight so fingers crossed it will just be cosmetic.
nope, the wheels and springs are the only undeclared mods, purely because springs had my mate looking for ages for an insurance company to insure him reasonably and the wheels which I bought for £400 were going to add £700 to my policy. It was a close call though, the garage doing the repairs said that the side skirts are damaged, and to replace them they would need to photo the damage which would include the wheel. I think I might end up putting the renault ones back on in anthracite or something, I'm undecided...DarthCake said:Judging by your post - you've not declared your springs then? HAve you declared your wheels?
