Toyo TR1's for track use?

Would like to get a new set of rubber on my wheels soon as these are average and read good review over others... Question is, what are these like on track? Thought I'd might as well use them up, it will be for my first track day, so wont be throwing it around and looking to improve lap times etc...

Aslong as it's not wet they'll be "Ok". They are certainly not the worst tyre in the world, but certainly not the best. If their there, use them up.

Paul, a mate of mine has just got a set of Toyo R1-R, duno how. Something to do with them being used in the jaguar series this coming season. He has tested on them and thinks highly of them. But to be fair he hasn't ever run on R888's, just Vredestein. Will be interesting to see the price of them

I've used them all year without fault, wet and dry. For £28 a pop in 195/50/15 they're ideal.

I'm not a fan tbh. These are a bit pricier, but much better wet/dry/track.
