Toyota Landcruiser 1989 Paint Correction

After seeing cars I've done, my Dad asked me to have a go at his, it's a 1989 2.5l turbo diesel. It's only been washed 2-3 times at the local jetwash place in 4-5 years so as you can imagine it's in pretty poor condition.

All he wanted was to bring some 'shine' back, done over 3 days (1 day then 2 hours then 2 hours)...

Products used:

BTBM
G101
Megs last touch
Dodo basics of bling clay
Menzerna p203
G220
Meguiars yellow polishing pad

Snow foamed with G220

That's it. Sorry for the s**t write up.

Tomorrow I'll give it a wash then seal it (FK1000p?) do glass, tyres etc. Also done the interior today for 2 hours so I'll get some pics of that.

Cheers for reading.

Before you gloss the tyres, use some APC neat and a nail brush on the tyres, brings the white writing up a treat.

Fair play to you for doing it. A big neglected truck like that takes a lot of motivation!!

Thanks :), half way through doing it I wondered wtf I was doing, still could do with several passes but my Dad's happy so we agreed to leave it as it is.

Superb mate, as said before the 50/50 shots are crazy. Just goes to show the warm climate you have kills paint like it does. I dont think water spots can be constantly looked after unless you are running around like a hound!!!!!

Cheers guys, Dad is more than happy with it. Water spotting is very hard to avoid in this weather. More pics later on.
