Track day

  RenaultSport clio 182
Im thinking of doing day on the GT track at Bedford ,any good ?? its on the 16th so my b wet !! .How do clio brakes hold up on the track ?

Brakes won't last long if you drive hard the circuit kills brakes. I've known it fade ds2500's and that was on a Cup is lighter and has wheel which let the brakes cool more.

Its the long back straight which kill them go easy on them and you'll be fine. The problem is you'll be doing 110 on the first them brake down to 70 then accelerate ty say 110 again and then brake hard down to 30 or so MPH. Ifg our brakes don't fade at Bedford your not driving hard enough or you've got a verr expensve brake setup etc.

Its a good circuit though not much to hit I've got a video here but you tube says its to big will have to try upload it to google.

every type of corner, fast, slow, sweeping, tight.

a good curcuit, only let down by how flat it is.

brake hard down to thirty indeed... unless like me in my saxo, brake failure, skidding across the grass, backwards into the 12 foot mud banks that surround the track.... clean over (only car to ever do it) and land on a fence
the other side!!! LOL

I still love that story thinkigng about it. I came off the same point but never managed to go that far. I think 2 wheel might even have stayed on the tarmac.

Flat ness is abit dull though your right.
