Track tyres for my 15s Clio 182

What would people go for and size? 195 50 15 or 205 15 15? Cheers

For me it would come down to cost, it's a track car not a race car so "ultimate" grip isn't the be all and end all for me, having fun and keeping the cost reasonable. Just my two penneth worth.

Minimal or no difference in performance, so as above, just buy whats best value.

Ive ran both sizes and prefered 205. Might have been a better day on track but felt the car was better. No difference in either size, probably but i would buy the wider tyre again. Like i have in the ado8r's in 16's.

Track tyres are usually wider than their stated widths too, so a 195 could actually be compared to a 205 normal road tyre.

You also benefit slightly from the higher load rating of a 205 compared to a 195, specifically the AD08R with the 195 having an 82 load rating and the 205 an 86.

That's true, i wouldn't stick 205's on anything less than a 6.5-7J rim.

wheels were already òn car need to remove them and have a look
