Trackday pads with standard discs

  FF 182, K5 GSX-R1000
Depends on the track and driving style, as to weather they fade.

Dont forget fluid is just as likely to cause fade so use decent stuff.

DS2500 are fast road pads only imo, they wilt on track.
they are fine i have just finished my 3th track day at donington with racing slicks on and they worked fine i have cooked my brake fluid but that's not down to the pads that's me being to harsh under braking and i am using dot 4 i have got to get myself some dot 5.1 fluid

I am using DS2500 pads with RenaultSport Gr. N front discs and everything is just fine on track :)

Friend of mine has ds2500 and standard discs and he also does not have any problems on track. There is no fading with any setup

1 Dry lap of the ring and they overheat, leaving pad deposits on the discs that then cause a vibration through the brakes and very poor braking at the next bend. The material is too soft for anything heavier than around 800kg on track, fast road they are fine.

i always thought dot 5.1 is more of a race fluid and needs to be bled more often than dot 4???
