Trackday tyre pressures

  RenaultSport 172 Phase 1
Anyone got any advice on wot pressures to run front/ rear on Ph1 172 fitted with standard size OZ alloys and running Goodyear F1's.

Cheers

Id personally run lower than that.

Cold pressures, Front 27 Rear 28 may drop rears another one or two depending on how it feels on faster corners.

If you have access to a temp probe this will help.

from what i've been told higher pressures saves your side walls!
It depends but yep the more the car rolls the more the side wall gets a hameering. My WIlliams runs and pressure it wants no trouble but the disel needs 37psi when cold (thats about 42psi when warm) to protect the side walls. if you don't the side wall writing completly dissappears.
To give you an idea porche on normal pressure looks like this ina bend
