Trackers

There goes the cash i had set aside for a Mugen twin loop!
Im moving house and it looks like the insurance company will insist on me getting a tracker fitted.

Ive had a quote from Gap Security, and have also looked at Tracker systems and Sempal, but tbh i dont know much about them.

Im looking at TQA systems, as i think this is the better systems you can buy.

Does anyone else have one, where are they normally located on the car and can anyone recommend a particular company?

Thanks.

I found that a tracker made no difference to my insurance what so ever. It has one on it though.

As for where they are located, it varies from car to car

(please no one go round pointing out where they generally are on cars)

Mmmm, fair enough. Although if someone is skilled enough to remove a tracker im sure they'll know where they're likely to be located.

I had a tracker on my subaru, but when they towed it it didnt send a signal and it hasnt been seen since, we was told that the items from certain companys (dont want to say to much)can locate them in the car and then they can be deactivated dont know if this is true though.

It was trackstar, we dont know what was done but when we rang they said no signal was coming from the car and so it must of been de activated. We only had the car 4 days
