Tracking - Keep ending up in the middle of the road

  RB 182 FF
Hi,

I've had my clio (182 FF) a while now, and since Ive had it people comment how I tend to drive in the middle of the road - ive noticed it too.

At first I was convinced it was due to me being worried about damaging the alloys but now I seem to fight the car to keep it to the left especially when pushing it a little. It could be my driving but I used to drive for a living and never noticed it before.

Is it perhaps the tracking? If I let go of the steering wheel from straight it runs straight but if I tilt the wheel slightly the car will continue to track in that direction even if I let go - not sure if this is normal. With my clio generally ive noticed there is loads of feel through the wheel and the steering is quite firm but I thought this was done on purpose.

Any help would be great! Hopefully ive just forgotten how to drive properly or something....

when was the last time you have wheel alignment done?
Regardless of whether it sorts your problem, its always a good idea to get it done once a year or so. Transforms the handling.
