Traction control problem?

I thought I'd put this to the test tonight by accelarating hard and was surprised by what happened.. I expected a gentle cut of power but instead it felt like the engine was knocking really hard like thud, thud, thud.... Is this normal? I get no knocks what so ever during normal driving.

Seems to be common with a few cars as a fault. Mine does it occationally in the wet and doesnt with the T/C turned off.

Other people on here know what its caused by i think.

I swear my TC/ESP is broken yet I have no warning light come on. I can pull out of junctions and wheel spin for miles down the road whereas before the TC would cut in and the little light used to come on. I never see it anymore and the car just seems to drive with no intervention.

Is it possible for it to stop working without any warning light being displayed?

the knocking is caused by loose engine mounts (to put it in its simplest terms)

renault will sort under warrenty

oo dear mine did this yesterday when i pulled away in the wet, it juddered

does that mean loose, or fucked mounts?
