Does anyone know how to turn off the traction control on the 172?

If youve got the ESP system then there is a little button down by the dash lighting control down and to the right of the steering wheel, but youve got it youve gotta turn it off every time I think.

yep, it turns itself on each time u start the car

ESP switch should be just above ur right knee.

how does the traction control work?? does it use the clutch and is it bad 2 rely on it??

only if youve got a TVR..

It uses the ABS sensors. Echo159 - it was fitted as standard on cars produced from July 2002
