Transmission Whine

do 182's/172's generally get much transmission whine higher up the rev range? like at say 3500rpm+ or is my gearbox on the way out? heehhe

There not amazing boxes they shoulnd't wine how many miles has it got might be worth trying to chnage the oil.
Its usualy the syncros which go on them which is different problem.

mine has done 35k miles... i mean im not sure if its a whine from transmission... or does the air intake make abit of a racket? lol

im not familiar with Clio sports, so excuse the newbie question hehe

Could be something easily fixable like the aux belt idler bearing.

Does it still whine when coasting?
