trip computer issue.

My trip computer works fine but every time I turn the key it resests itself, so I bought a new battery yesterday and its still doing it! Very annoying when u want to find out how many miles I'm doing to a tank of fuel!

Anyone having or had this problem and can it be fixed?

check the earth on the dashboard.also the dashboard might be gone it has happened/.

Have to take the upper dash off, there are several ground connections to the dashboard support frame secured with torx bolts

Should be a guide on here somewhere, it's pretty straight forward.
You'll need a T20/T25 (I can't remember which) torx driver.

Get your hand in its stuck on the passenger side airbag. Unfortuantly Ive no pics but when you get it out you will see how it all goes together.

Once you do it and have the cuts to prove it its easy to do again and again and you'll have truely accomplished somethign so well worth a bit more effort (easier for me to say than you to do though)

Yep if the batterys gone thats the issue saves the dash top hastle.
