trip computer only half working

hi guys,
my trip computers been out for a while now, when i cycle through the displays i can only get my total mileage, mieage since reset, and average speed.
all the fuel related (fuel till fill up, average mpg etc) just display "----"
now i have just run the diagnostic thing and it gave me "-d" on the display, which i believe to be an injector sensor fault?!?
could these be linked?
any ideas:?

i had this problem too mate but only with my miles left in the tank....

was a trip to renault im affraid to get it re-programmed, cost bout £25 - about half an hour they charge for it. Id just got the car so not sure what was the cause of the problem but its been okay for the last couple of years.

think all this is a software problem....

well, i got mine fixed for free..
all i did was reset the error code on the 'dash trick' and it all seems to be working fine now.

run the diagnostics again and press the reset button should cure it for free

there wasnt anything on a thread aboutthis at the time i had my problems -however at least it only cost me £25 quid and not £280 on the thread above^^^^^^
