TRIP computer

Wondered if anyone has any ideas about my small problem. Basically every so often when i start the car the trip computer resets itself and it all starts from 0 again. This only happens when i have left the car for a while and its cold so usually first thing in the morning. But its not all the time. My thought was it could be my battery but its only 2 years old? It never struggles to start either.

Change your battery mate thats the problem. (yes the car will still start ok but it is the battery )

Is it normal a battery only lasts 2 years? Will it get worse and the car will eventually not start?

So many posts about this mate, defo change the battery and 99% sure it will sort your problem like the other posts and my car

Found out my battery has a 3 yr guarantee and it got fitted just under 2 years ago. Does that mean if i take it back i get a new one for free? Or does it have to be completely dead for that to happen?

Yep battery, mine started doing it every other night then every single night - changed the battery and is all good now

I definitely wouldn't hurt to phone them up and ask. Its the battery that it at fault.
