Trip Computer

Just got myself a 54 182, but for some reason the trip is working (IE reset it and the miles go up) but for some reason the miles left/mpg is always flashing ---, even if I put £50 worth of fuel in.

Any ideas? I've tried resetting it but hasn't worked!

Does it reset itself EVERY time the car is turned off? If so, then get a new battery.

Na it doesn't reset, it just doesn't work full stop, always --- on mpg/miles left and the other one.

Plugged it into the computer the other day and it's coming up with the first lamba, going to replace that anyway see if that is the cause?

I'm prob confusing people reading that. The trip computer works fine, ie it never resets, works as usual. It's all the next 3 options on the trip, which are coming up as flashing ---.

Good to see your getting on with your car ok and it wasn't nothing major, has Gav looked at cam timing & rocker cover? Also with regards to your text about the side repeaters, PM chris205, he's breaking 4 1*2's so he should be able to help
