Trip Computer

Finally got my new Clio today, but have a query bout the trip computer... flicking through the options available i noticed that my average speed remains at 22.4mph even though two thirds of my journey home was along a nice dual carriageway, along which i decided to exercise my right foot a little.

Despite this the mpg has remained at 39.9 and this is with me also pottering round town. Ive even RTFM in an attempt to figure it out, ive reset the trip computer but this doesnt make any difference to the figures.

However, the miles since last fill up, tripometer and miles to next fill up all work fine, is it broke or am i not doing something?

Run test mode (hold button in and key on)

Then reset.

Cheers mate. Do i need to hold button first and then turn the key? What needs to be on the display (mileage,tripometer etc) when doing this?
