trip mileage Vs Odometer mileage

I havnt reset my computer since I got the car over 4000miles now.

The odometer is about 7 or 8 mile in front of the trip, why is this?

Prpb due to the supplying dealer reseting the trip before you got it!!

I thought this but it cant be, as the comp has 2 trips and they are the same as each other besides everything was the same when I picked up the car 12 miles they all said.

Its always like this no idea why.

My cars done about 50 miles more on the trip than the milage indicates.

There not allowed to turn the clocks back there locked as such the only way to do it is to get a new dash bit.
