Tryed to turn airbag and service light off.

Ok i crashed my car awhile back and one of the passenger seat air bags came out, so i replaced my seats with buckets. Iv been reading that you can put a 3.3ohm resister in the plug and that can turn the airbag light off.So i bought 50 of them of ebay , plugged them in and nothing happened.


Is this because i have crashed and i will be needing renault to reset the airbags or something, or should the light went off.?

If you had a smack then you need a new airbag computer, wont be f**k all you can do until a new computer is fitted.

or theres a bloke on ebay that unlocks them.
