Trying to recreate a setup I saw at FCS.

If anyone recalls the green 206 in the "top 25 french cars" section, with the boot open and a very very loud system, that's the one I mean.

From watching the video, it seems that it has 2 Lanzar Heritage subs, I assume 12" because I've seen them for sale,

Not very expensive to say they were blasting away everything within the "top 25" radius.

The amplifier is a 4 channel Lanzar Vibe - 1200w. I assume it's this.

There are some 6x9s on the rear shelf (it's a custom build about 8" thick from the look of it) with another Lanzar Vibe amp in there, but I can't make out what it might be and I can't remember it.

Would you say these items are a good combination for aural insanity in a standard setup ?? I.E with the rest of the boot still usable, and not having to build a lounge in the boot.

There's also much much better kit than Lanzar. If you post a budget and what you actaully want a few people will be able to spec ideal systems.

Id say around the £400 mark by the time he buys all that then a box and wires - but you could get much better bang for your buck but if you have your heart set on it .....

Come to mention it, that's pretty much the limit I'd spend on subs.

You say don't get this, don't do that. Why not ?? That sounded very good from where I was standing, drowning out everything else from a distance too.

Any suggestions would be great though.

well it was designed to be loud from the back and prolly sounds s**t from the drivers seat.

the subs look all show(but don't even do that very well in my eyes)

lanzar opti-drive stuff is supposed to be good but there is nothing about it that shouts look i have this which make me good.

i don't think it makes a difference whether they are inverted or not(ok there may be a slight difference in sq)

having the boot open is not a good idea as it puts less load on the "out-side" of the cone

Yup, not sure what it was tbh, it was all wrapped in material. 8" thick wood costs money... even MDF.
