Tuning and Servicing - Who

Wondered if you chaps wouldnt mind answering a couple of basic questions:

1. Who do you use for tuning and servicing

2. Why

3. What is the most important thing you would look for in a specialist i.e staff knowledge a,d helpfulness, premises, advertising etc... (quality of work not included as this should be a given).

4. What would make you use a specialist over a dealer (other than warranty issues)

Just trying to understand from various forums what enthusiasts see as important when they leave their pride and joy in the hands of a third party.

Any help you can give would be much appreciated, thanks

it depends where in the country you are & how much you wan to spend, some ppl drive miles for a service, others go to local specialists.
what car is it for?

i took my 16v to torsion tuning in essex, as they are quiter local & have a good rep on here, the warranty wernt a prob as it dont have one, as its 10yrs old.

It research for a project I am working on. I dont own a Clio, I have Mitsu Evo but I am conducting this type of thing on other forums as well. Thanks for your input mate :)
