Just bought this of a fellow club member.

Very pleased with condition of the exhaust and quality of workmanship here. Bought the BTB on the strength of the comments of other owners on here.

I've got a limit to take the car too. As I bought it for my job and social usage, can't be too lary with the tuning or I'll be greatly out of pocket with my my monthly fuel claims.

Buying many pieces over the next six months.

Maxogen is on it's way. Inlets, cams and omex planned for March.

don't bother with the omex unless your planning tb's, they've moved along way with mapping & should be able to map your existing ecu to cope with cams thats what i'm about to do with shrick cams, i had an omex & sold it as your looking about a grand to fit & map it on top of the unit which is £700 ish so your looking at between £1500-£1700 fitted & mapped & you could get your ecu mapped for say £300-£500 max. i'll let you know how i get on, pm me to remind me, it should be any later than late jan.

Oh dear, I didn't realise those omex units were of that kind of money. So we're saying circa £1600 to buy, fit, and map the unit?

Who's undertaking the work for you with you application of uprated cams?

Maxogen are soooo nice BUT £300+ is alot, I'm taking the OEM Maxogen Route, Ph1 Airobox Etc.

Just fitted at Ren-Tech yesterday.

BTB rear silencer,centre section and Yozzasport de-cat.

ITG Maxogen filter.

(no pic) Brembo Max front discs, Ferodo DS 2500, Goodridge braided hoses and fluid change.

First impressions:

Haven't really noticed any gains in outright accelration. Though more torque is present in the lower rpm range.

Sound is pleasing, reasonably loud. Intrusive at 75 mph +, boomy. Not too worried as most of the time below 75 mph....and if above turn up the stereo!

Slightly better pedal feel from the braided hoses. Haven't been able to do any hard stops on the new discs as motorway driving in rush didn't permit.
