Tuning Help

  178hp 172 Cup
I am possibly looking at buying a 172 cup and although i will use it on the road i am making the purchase to do as many track sessions as possible!! i have used my girlfriends 182 on track b4 but she wont let me modify things so this is why i am lookin towards a 172 cup!!

could anyone plse help me in options for Air Filters?? Inductions Kits or Panel Filters?? which is better for performance??

Suspension... obviously coilovers but who recommends what??

Exhaust systems.. i aint bothered about being the loudest but i want as good a performance exhaust as i can get!!

Brakes... a few friends are running Pagid Blues with Brembo discs but what can u all recommend for fast road/track??

also any other mods i hav forgotten to get me started???

i will b goin for more mods later on but i will focus on this to start with. Prices for these mods do not bother me too much but hav to b within reason. I dont wanna spend stupid money on somethings that wont b much better than rival products at half the price!!

Hope to get some decent responses soon!! thanx

Induction depends on ure budget, if you have a spare 400 get the maxogen, other wise just get an ITG panel filter.

If ure gonna be using it on road too, then H&R for suspension. COstly though 700+ but you get what you pay for with coilys.

Yozza exhaust seems to be good, but i think any straight through system will give you want u want.

I run Pagid blues with Brembo HC discs also mate, cant fault them on track, no fade at all... full kit for 275 from Yozza with the braided lines too.

Only other things worth doing are a de-cat, inlets and custom remap.

You may wish to improve the driving position, maybe look at buckets and harnesses to get a good connection with the car.

And if u dont have to carry anyone around, strip it out at the back - most cost effective mod ull do.

i will aslo defo change the seast for buckets and strip out the rear too!! possible cage is too and use front and rear strut braces to stiffen it up a little!!

thanx for the reply dude
