Tuning parts for my 1.6 GT

  2010 Clio 1.6 GT VVT
Hi

I've had my 1.6 GT VVT for over 6 months now but only recently looked into increasing performance. I was looking to add 30-50bhp to the 126 as standard.

Does anybody have any good suggestions where to start? I'm open to everything! I was thinking of intake/manifold stuff initially.

Cheers

Matty

that kind of power just isn't going to happen sadly, get a panel filter, and a decat to help free up gases in and out the engine, this may give you 1-2bhp, but will sound more powerful. the only real way of getting that kind of power increase is to get a turbo/supercharger kit, or maybe itbs, but the money you will end up spending you would be better off just buying a quicker car.

The engine in your car is a K4M, id whack that into a search, as there have been a few threads on it over the years... Some foreign members have been developing a turbo kit afaik.....

Also, if your cars in warranty, it might be worth checking that before doing any modifications to it, they might invalidate it...

it will be difficult to get gains around the figures you would be after,

i would De-cat it, wouldn't bother with changing the exhaust the standard one is pretty good,

as said above panel filter aswell,

you should of got a diesel one :p mine has around 130hp

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
you're looking at a huge amount of work to get 30bhp+. throttle bodies and Cams at the very least
