as above, I have no catt on my dci anymore ( ghetto de- internal )
now the big f**k off can is somewhat not efficient I presume just being a big space for gases to collect

now I have a few lengths of exhaust piping , 2" and nearly 2.3"
are these to small to put in place of the hollow can ?

thinking of turbo back pressure from these might be to much

chip, if you answer this, please put it in somewhat noob terms as im not all that clued up on exhaust systems

Leave room for improvment ;) that's what I was told when I went for a meager 3inch down pipe

its the fact its so close to the turbo exhaust outlet, the pressure from the standard size pipe might caulse issues later on.

Shouldn't think so if you just pipe that's the same size as the turbo exhaust. Then it'll make no difference. If you have a wider exhaust from the turbo back then you'd have less back pressure and quicker spool up.

You won't lose any spool up speed bro. It'll be the same because the pipe will be the same all the way along. As long as you don't go smaller than the original diameter.
