Why has every clio got Turini's and mine hasn't.

I'm not paying £600 WITHOUT tyres for a new set, or does everyone pay this much?

They only came as standard on the 172 cup and 182 trophy. Both of which are 2 litre 'sport' editions. And if my eyes serve me correctly your profile says you've got a 1.2!

Just buy a second hand set with tyres for less than £600

or just stop moaning

Turini's second hand will be between £200 and £450 depending on condition, but they get snapped up very quickly.
